1. Application Developer

The main focus of this position is application software development in C++ and web-technologies  to develop and maintain software applications for chemist, that are built on the top of  our existing development platform using C++, client-server technologies, JAVA, JSP and Oracle technologies.

Skills required:

• C, C++, Java programming
• expertise of Web-technologies (JSP, JS, Tomcat)
• graphical user interface design
• databases (Oracle)
• Linux application development skills
• Strong background in mathematics / analytical skills
  
• Desired background in chemistry, specifically organic chemistry
  

Educational background:

• BSc / MSc / PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
• possibly BSc / MSc / PhD in Chemistry, with specialization or experience in synthetic organic chemistry  and programming
  
• Proven academic excellence in mathematics or computer science or chemistry

Additional nice to have:

• Familiar with client / server and distributed technologies
• Experience in scientific programming, computational sciences or molecular modeling
• Knowledge of bioinformatics or cheminformatics
• Experience in commercial software development
