Input and Output specification


The program takes bitmap images or PDF files as input and converts them into various file formats, including: ChemDraw, MOL files.

Sample input and output files are given below:

Input: Molecule in Windows bitmap file format

(Note: Tiff or other image files can be processed if converted to bitmap via a graphics editing program - e.g. MS Paint on MS Windows platform)

  • Output 1: Molecule in MOL file format (ASCII)
  • Output 2: Molecule in ChemDraw file format (binary)
  • Output 3: Molecule in CLiDE's own ASCII file format
